Threshold Office is an NYC-based architecture studio. We build upon the past, creating spare, maximally functional design to create what we believe is essentially contemporary architecture.

Current projects include a Brooklyn townhouse and a house in Regina, Saskatchewan.

  • “Lauren McClellan’s ability to listen and offer creative design solutions and details, turned a “typical” brownstone renovation into a work of art. Her design sense and integrity has me thinking every day “I can’t believe I get to live here”!”

  • “Threshold office did the architectural and interior design for the full gut, 3rd floor addition, and renovation of our 100-year-old Toronto home. Lauren was incredible to work with - she built a plan that was perfectly aligned to our vision, was extremely collaborative throughout, and worked closely with our builder to bring everything to life. We would happily work with Lauren again for future projects!”

  • “Threshold Office was an absolute pleasure to work with. Lauren’s calm and professional guidance helped take the edge off the often-daunting permit process and thanks to her, our renovation went off without a hitch. Highly recommend!”
